1. Myasthenia gravis is an autoimmune disorders in which the body’s immune system attacks it’s own healthy cells. In this condition antibodies are directed to the postsynaptic acetylcholine receptors. These antibodies reduces the number of receptors and it is an auto- antibody mediated response . The antibodies binds to the postsynaptic muscle end plate and destroys the postsynaptic molecules.
